Bio

James began working for Dodds Wealth as an intern during the summer before his senior year at the University of Colorado. He graduated in May 2026 with a bachelor's degree in Finance and Personal Financial Planning, and joined the firm full time as a Paraplanner.

As a Paraplanner, James works behind the scenes to support advisors in building thoughtful, personalized financial plans for clients. He enjoys applying what he learned in the classroom to real-world client situations and is focused on developing a strong foundation in financial planning, investment analysis, and client service.

James was raised in Golden, Colorado, and recently relocated to Denver after graduation. In the summer, you'll find him on the golf course at Fossil Trace, and in the winter, skiing at Copper Mountain.
